Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all paid subscriptions on paceghost.io.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • From the account settings page within the app (primary method)
  • By contacting us at [email protected]

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to all paid features and your remaining credits until the billing period ends.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from your subscription purchase in accordance with Article 16 of Directive (EU) 2011/83.

To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase, stating your account email and the date of purchase.

Digital Content Waiver: Because paceghost.io is a digital service delivered immediately upon purchase, we may ask you to explicitly waive your right of withdrawal by confirming that you have begun using the Service. If you have not run any scans, analyses, or benchmarks, you are entitled to a full refund without waiver.

3. Refunds After the Withdrawal Period

After the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • Service Outage: If the Service was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours during your billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit for the affected time.
  • Accidental Purchase: If you purchased a subscription by clear accident and have not used any credits, contact us within 7 days for a review.
  • Other Cases: We review all refund requests individually. Contact [email protected] with your circumstances.

4. Credit Policy

  • Credits are non-refundable: Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
  • Rollover: Unused credits roll over subject to caps (3× monthly allotment for monthly plans, 12× for yearly plans). See our Terms & Conditions §7.3 for details.
  • Expiry on Cancellation: Upon cancellation, remaining credits remain available until the end of the current billing period, after which they expire.
  • Free Tier Credits: Free tier credits do not roll over and reset each cycle.

5. Founders Tier

The Founders tier is a limited-availability subscription with a fixed number of slots and a discounted monthly price. If you cancel your Founders subscription and the Founders program is full or closed when you wish to re-subscribe, you may not be able to rejoin at the original price.

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or Paddle. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.
